Imagine taking your class back to the 19th century for a day on the actual site where British warships docked, sailors and soldiers toiled, and settlers carved an existence out of the wilderness.  What a dramatic way to fulfill Ontario's curriculum requirements!

At Discovery Harbour, in-costume historical interpreters guide students to an understanding of pioneer life, the daily routine in an isolated naval outpost, and the historical relationship between Canada and the United States.  This is out-of-classroom experience at its finest...and it's fun!

There is no place in Ontario like Discovery Harbour.  You and your class will never forget your day in the 19th century.  Hands-on learning at its best.

Huronia Historical Parks announces newly enhanced Education Programs delivered by Discovery Harbour interpreters!
